Happy Holidays! I'm back at it. This time I'm adding Jocelyn Delk Adams' Real Deal Caramel Icing to the mix! Like always, I used Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond's Rum Cake Recipe.
I cut the glaze amount in half because I wanted the icing to adhere.
That Icing really made a delicious cake even better. It is definitely the real deal. True Southern goodness. It took me close to an hour and a half to make but it was well worth the time. I wish I'd iced the whole cake but I called myself having original too.
Jocelyn is the creator of Grandbaby Cakes. She has a blog and a cookbook. I can't wait to try some more of her goodies. Be sure to check her out.
Luv,
La
I only iced some of the cake cause
I wanted Original slices as well. Should have went all in cause that Caramel Icing is the truth!
